I have seen data for SR7625 SR4756, HS-6. What is the softest but will still make major.

Im looking for the most accurate load data for a 200gr SWC, shooting out of a 5 1911 and a USP Expert. I spend most of my load development spare time messing with 9mm since that is the caliber I shoot in competitions, my .45 loads have been pretty accurate but since I dont spend a lot of time twe.

As far as powders go. I picked these up initially because it is what I found locally and I don't plan on getting an 8lb jug of powder that I don't like or pay $20 hazmat fee on a $15 1lb'er.

White Hots 50/50 is a 50 Caliber, 50 grain pellet for muzzleloaders. The pelletized form makes for faster reloads with pre-formed charges that easily drop down the barrel and is easy to pack without the need for measures or funnels.

Nov 30, 2013  · I am trying to work up a load in 45 acp LRN 230 gr softball and thought of changing powder to something faster from SR7625 and order some new powder. I have some leading issues. I should change to trailboss or tite group rather than win231 or hp-38 if speed is my goal ???

Back in the day, SR7625 was the powder which Remington used for loading both .38 Special and .45 ACP match wadcutter ammunition. I have also used it with good results in plainbased rifle loads reducing charges 10% by weight from Unique data.

The 45-70 is an amazing caliber and it draws more freaks in reloading than anyother caliber I know of and before someone takes that wrong,I am one of

Jan 11, 2005  · I am shooting 200 swc (jackeded) and am looking for what seems to be the best powder make and charge for this bullet. I have been using HP-38 for my lead. I just loaded 6.3 grs of 231 and got 860 fps out of it. I have seen data for SR7625 SR4756, HS-6. What is the softest but will still make majo.

IMR SR7625 in 45 ACP. Finding powder around here has been a lost cause. Any shipments to the major outlets is gone 10 minutes after they open. But a local tucked away feed store has a very good supply of bullets, primers and some powders. I picked up some IMR SR7625 based on their load data book.

HS-6 vs Unique in .45 Colt Perceived Recoil.

SR7625 45 ACP loads, loaded near the upper safe limits have less "felt" recoil for me than powders such as Power Pistol, Unique and Longshot – all loaded near the upper end. While highly unscientific, I definitely felt a difference – and my Chrony.

Jun 27, 2014  · I have a lead on a pound of powder, IMR SR 7625, and from what I’m reading, this is a powder suitable for both shot shells and pistol. I’ve never used this powder before, and would love to find a powder suitable for both my 12 gauge press and for my cast 9mm.

Do you *need* one? If you're shooting, and trying to make specific loads, I'd think you'd need to know velocity. That aside–and this is just me, trained as a scientist, having had it beaten into my brain by failures of measurement that unless you can measure properly who knows what you've got–I personally don't see how anyone can reload without knowing exactly what they are producing.

Selecting a Solid Propellant for Reloading .45 ACP Any reason not to grab IMR SR 7625 powder? This is a discussion on Any reason not to grab IMR SR 7625 powder? within the Reloading forums, part of the Firearm Forum category; After considering my options (and reading the advice posted in my other thread), I've decided to get into reloading. So far all I've purchased is.

Jul 09, 2014  · No flies on SR7625, buy it and burn it if you have reliable data. Most of it that I have burned was in 16 ga, but have used it in handguns as well, it is about the same burn rate as Unique and Universal, which is very, very good.

From a Lee manual it does show some use in 9mm and 45 ACP, as well as in .38 special, .38 special +P, .357.

So, I could suggest that pressure tested .45 ACP data which approached SAAMI MAP is quite suitable as a steady diet in modern .45 ACP revolvers such as the S&W 25, Ruger Blackhawk, etc. Getting 900 fps with a 230-grain jacketed bullet is reality and you can cautiously do so with 255-grain cast bullet using powders such as Bullseye, W231, SR7625.

45 Acp Full Moon Clips Oct 16, 2017  · While I use Trail Boss in .45 AR cases for shaved MK VI’s with proper hollow base .265 gr bullets, I used to use 4.6 gr of Unique. I don’t use any .45 ACP ammo out an abundance of caution, but I do know that back in the 60’s my good friend
